Description
In a nutshell:
A smooth and super fruity IPA from Beak Brewery of Lewes, Sussex.
The lowdown:
This India Pale Ale was brewed with a protein rich malt bill and ultra-soft water profile along with huge amounts of Citra and HBC 630 hops. Beak describe the flavours as reminiscent of ripe cherry, pureed raspberries and frosted glove-box travel sweets (mainly the red ones but also a few of the yellow ones).
The Brewery:
Beak Brewery, nestled in the South Downs near Lewes, is a bird worth watching. Founded by food writer Daniel Tapper, they started life as a nomadic project, brewing hop-forward IPAs and saisons with the likes of Beavertown and Northern Monk. Now, with their own kit, they've landed in Lewes, and brew a diverse range of beers. Expect juicy IPAs alongside traditional best bitters and exciting mixed-fermentation projects. Their taproom, with its ever-changing beer list and street-food canteen, is a must-visit for any beer lover.
Style - IPA ABV 6.0% - Strong
