A fresh and delicate English rosé made with fruit from family owned vineyards spanning Kent, Sussex, and Essex.
The lowdown:
This has got a lot of Provençal vibes but this delicious rosé is nevertheless quintessentially English. Pale, blush colour in appearance it opens up to crisp, soft fruits on the palate along with a touch of grapefruit zestiness. The lengthy finish is very moreish and at just 12% ABV you'll certainly be after another glass.
The Producer:
First launched in 2019, Folc is something of a newcomer on the Block. The owners, Elisha Rai and Tom Cannon don't have their own vineyards, but work with a range of family vineyards across the south of England to source the fruit that goes into this delicious Pinot Noir led blend. A good measure of the quality can be gauged from the critical acclaim its won in a short space of time.
When to drink:
Enjoy on its own in the warm weather or pairs perfectly with alfresco dining.
